We chose Dharma, as it relates to “the teachings of the Buddha”, for the name of Tribe’s section devoted to learning. Throughout Indian philosophy, Dharma represents a higher truth—that which is natural and right.
Dharma is represented by the dharma wheel whose eight spokes evoke the elements of the Nobel Eightfold Path. Following the path is believed to lead to self-awakening and this is the same goal of the various sections of Dharma: the Tribe ImagiNation Challenge, the Lugh Chronicles, Murasaki’s Pen,
and Spirit Teachings.
Tribe ImagiNation Challenge
Every issue of Tribe magazine includes a theme-based photography competition. You can submit your photo to the ImagiNation forum on our Community page. Your fellow members will vote on the top five entries, and the editors will decide which to publish in the next issue.
Lugh Chronicles
Inspire other Tribe members with your skills and knowledge. “Lugh” is the ancient Celtic master of all arts, crafts, and skills. Like him, as master of your art, you have the opportunity to help members connect to resources, books, events, and workshops that will expand their horizons. Submissions should be posted to the Dharma forum on our Community page.
Murasaki’s Pen
Murasaki’s Pen is the place for all-level writers of poetry and short fiction to share their work. Submissions should be posted to the Dharma forum on our Community page.
Spirit Teachings
Spirit Teachings explores all the world’s spiritual disciplines. From Harmonic Emergence to enneagrams to chakras, these wide-ranging explorations remind us how essential it is to take the time to enrich our souls and rejuvenate our spirits. Submissions should be posted to the Dharma forum on our Community page.
Our complete submission guidelines can be found on How to Submit to Tribe.
