Post It depends on my mood
I like all kinds of music. My roots are in Soul and Rhythm and Blues so of course I have to go there. I like smooth jazz also.

Most of the time I listen to New Age music. Hearts of Space is a favorite. I like Carlos Nakai.

When I am in a revved up mood, or need to be in a revved up mood I listen to Michael Jackson. Michael Jackson was and is KING: second to NONE. :D

I love the smooth rhythms of what is usually called World Music, which I suppose is anything that is not of European origin. To be more specific, I like Afro-Caribbean, Native American, and music from Peru,

I tend to like individual songs rather than artists (Except for Michael Jackson) I will listen to Life is a Lemon by Meat Loaf, Hallelujah by Jeff Buckley or Fighter by Christina Aguilera. Sometimes I even listen to John Denver but shhhh, don't tell anyone.

I'm more of a rock person, I like ballads too and pop occasionally but for me it also depends on my mood.I might love a song but sometimes I just can't listen to it at that time

I agree, it totally depends on my mood. I typically or most frequently listen to heavy metal, but realize that there are alllll sorts of metal. It's not all thrash as the popular bands today would seem to suggest! I also love David Bowie, Roy Orbison, Neil Young, and the Traveling Wilburys... I like southern rock, blues (I am an Austinite, home to Stevie Ray Vaughan), and jazz. I recently downloaded some yoga/meditation/Buddhist/Chinese/Native American music (I have no idea what to call the genre!). I like gangsta rap, trance/house music, and even a tiny lil bit of country. So yeah, it totally depends on my mood, sometimes I am 'down' and want music that will rev me up, but sometimes I don't want to break that mood, I just want to linger there by listening to music that is 'down' or 'low' as I like to call it. I recently heard some... hmmm, was it Armenian? music that was really beautiful.

I want to check out some of the genres you mentioned, Sedusa... the Afro-Caribbean and Peruvian music. Cool! Oh and I also happen to think Christina Aguilera is extremely talented. She has a great voice! Would love to hear her do more soul-type stuff, I think she would be fabulous!
