Thanks Lee for the not so great updates on our dear friend and colleague Tina (Butterfly.) Tina, if you are reading this .... I just want to agree with Lee ---
THIS IS TOTALLY NOT FAIR ...and this is also one of the hardest lessons I still struggle to deal with ...that unfair things happen to wonderful people.

Know I am sending much love and light your way .... along with healing prayers .....as I'm sure everyone you know is also doing ..... I wish we were closer ... I'd come for a visit and bring your flowers and a healthy soup.

Sending love and healing thoughts,
Jacquelyn
P.S. Bravo to Lee for keeping Tribe in good hands while you are away....thanks Lee !!!

Dear Ms Butterfly,

I'm truly sorry to hear that so many challenges have been put in your path. Lessons and blessings come disguised in many ways. While in the throes of a challenging situation, it's frequently difficult to see just what they are, let alone acknowlede that something so horrific could possibly bring any kind of blessing or lesson at all. Rest assured, the things you're experiencing are making you stronger in ways you probably won't be aware of until you are out of this storm. Trust your God. This time in your life will bring great reflection to you as the pieces to your puzzle begin to fall into place. I am certain that when you finally rise from this storm, you will have a new view and a new direction.

God bless and keep you ever moving forward.

My dear Butterfly [Tina]...I was unaware of your serious illness and will pray for recovery and blessings to be bestowed upon you! You are a dear sweet lady and God loves you too! I pray the hand of God upon you to heal, comfort and guide you through both physically...but especially...and most importantly spiritually. May your soul be refreshed anew and recieve 'the peace that passeth all understanding'.
Blessings hon....

Yes, it is awful how such terrible things happen to such great people.

All I can think is that the truly nice, good people worry so much about others that they forget to take care of themselves, and infections/ bad vibes creep in. And obviously we HSPs are more sensitive to everything.

Just a thought on 'why?' Not much help, but I'll be thinking as positive thoughts as I can for Butterfly, she has helped me immensely with my stupid problems over the last months.

Yes, Kat, and that is so very true for our Butterfly. She thinks of and does so much for others--unfortunatley, it's for those who don't appreciate or even acknowledge her efforts and sacrifices--that her health and well-being have been put at serious risk.

I must have been a warrior priest in some of my other lives because all I want to do is grab a sword, fly over there and slay some....hmmm...I was going to say dragons, but I love dragons. Think they've gotten a rotten deal through history. Well, anyway, I'd do some important and painful hacking away! Actually, I could start over here with a few slime buckets.

Gotta let go of the blade-wielding and get more into the...well, more constructive way of thinking, I guess.

She goes in for surgery Wednesday afternoon. I'll let you know how she's doing.

Lee, are you INFJ? I am, apparently that is the Protector. I always think I'd have been a brilliant warrior priest in the past, I'm always wanting to protect people.

I hope Butterfly knows how much I appreciated her help, wisdom and insights :? Even if others in her life are so ungrateful and thoughtless.

We must all protect ourselves against doing too much for unappreciateive people, there is no point, they are draining.

I ride the line between INFP and INFJ. I'm a P when I am doing my creative thing. I jump into the J when I am teaching or editing or doing the maternal thing--areas where I have to be very discerning and a decision-maker.

In all honesty, my sword is the word, written or spoken. When I'm passionate or on a crusade or protecting, I can rationally eviscerate the object of my focus quite efficiently. But physical violence against another person--I have to be in a very deep corner for that to occur. Or see someone I care about in that position.

I deeply care about our Butterfly.

As for the specifics of her operation, that is her story to tell. And she will. She plans on saying quite a lot--things people really need to hear about concerning health and health care.

Yes, I can definitively imagine she has something to tell us about health care. In the meantime, although I do not know her, a good recovery!
