Hand Medicine Wheel

A while back I was being led to make a hand medicine wheel. I kept seeing one flash in visions and dreams. Not the typical 36 stone medicine wheel like Native Americans make but a much smaller different type. Then a couple of years ago I was on a web site called **gems crysals and saw two very similar to what I had seen in the dreams that she had made and my mind had never let it go.
I have never seen any anywhere else or any explanations even on her site. I don't beleive she is still alive but a few of her pages are still there for all to see. I have looked under mandalas, medicine wheels, hand medicine wheels etc. but can find no references of anything similar to direct you to for more info on a hand medicine wheel. All I can then do is try to explain to you what I felt, and my ideas at the time I built it.

I have a muse possibly even my higher self ....I believe that had constantly been putting thoughts into my mind of make a wheel using gemstones that you can place your hand over. I love gemstones and have a large collection and use them for healing on myself quite regularly. Thoughts of a wheel that one can utilize to not only heal yourself but to use to send healing outward to others and to the universe.

I was constantly being drawn back to this thought process so I finally purchased some gemstone chips online to use for this as I did not wish to use my larger stones out of my collection. Energy from gemstones is not prevelent to size so I figured small would be just as well and would make it easier to fit under a handspan.

So I received the gemstones chips, spent hours seperating them by color and type. Then thought okay how is the best way to do this. A chakra pie shape with crystal center???? Or maybe a spiral effect as I have often seen spirals behind my eyes or maybe triangles within triangles etc. What would best utilize this type of healing modality.

So I placed the call out to the universe to the Gods, the angels the guides, guardians of the stones etc. I told them of my intent with my project, what I hoped it would do as far as benefiting all concerned, and ask for a muse. I asked for them to compile their collective consciousness to come up with the best possible healing wheel/ mandala/ medicine wheel that I could possibly create utilizing what I had to work with.

Then I got a piece of paper and pen. Drew a circle and just went about my business cleaning house for a while. Then an hour or so later sat back down and just focused in on the energy of all the seperated stone chips. I then felt compeled to add a few larger stones and some pearls to the collection.

Then I started maping out a plan. All at once I would get a thought that would make it even better. I believe I changed it at least 10 times each thought making it even better, at least in my mind to where I ended up with a plan. It consisted of a combination of a chakra wheel with grounding and ascencion inserts plus elevations to the upper chakras as well as using the healing properties of the gemstones and color therapy in conjuntion with gemstone energy.

I am of the believe that if I place my receiving hand on it when I am finished I should be able to draw all the healing energy from this added to my personal energies and channel it out to amplify my sending through my right hand, my sending hand. If a person is right handed their left hand is their receiving hand and their right hand is their sending hand. It is the total opposite if a person is left handed. So then your sending hand would be your left hand.



this is how I worked it out ........................

I used a circular piece of glass. I had read somewhere that using glass for making mandalas etc.would allow the energy to flow freely in and out of it so I for that reaason chose the glass.
I used a circle shape to signify never ending.
I used a silver edge on it as silver enhances gemstones energy where as gold muffles some of the energy.
I placed in the very center a solid white stone. This was to signify pure white light energies.
Then on top of this stone I placed three infinity stones to signify the trilogies of father, son, holy spirit. Me, myself and I. Past, present, future etc.
Over top of that with pearls I did a infinity symbol figure eight.
I then placed four clear quartz crystals in th e four directions to signify north east south and west.
At the very bottom of the circle I placed brown color ranged stones. This was for grounding and to signify mother earth.

For my chakra work usage...

I then placed red stones for the root chakra / orange for sacral/ and yellow, gold for solar plexus work.
I then seperated the colors with pearls as they heal all chakras.
I then focused on the upper chakras, so I did green for the two heart chakras,
blue for the throat, violet and purple and indigo.
I then made a arch upward that for most of the upper chakra energy colors
seafoam, blue green, pearlescent, pink orange, gold, violet pink, blue violet, golden white, violet white, multiwhite, pink gold, magenta, violet gold, platinum.

I also added one entire row of black stones for the void.I am of the personal belief that you can only meditate to about 9th chakra then you must penetrate the void to get higher. I did not have room to do seperate rows for all of them so I double rowed the upper chakra stones. I just wanted to make sure they had a symolic representation for visual and mental connections.

I only had one goldstone gem so I used small gold jewelry links as my gold.
I then surrounded it all with clear quartz and rose quartz chips.
This would surround the entire circle with amplified energy and love.

For healing ...there are the healing properties of all the many different stones

I later the next day meditated and ask if spirit had any suggestions that I should add and I was told to add a dendritic agate an a amethyst wand plus a piece of coral so did this after the picture was taken.

When I place my hand on it the energy is amazing.

I cleansed the entire piece with a sage snudging then I placed it in the sun for an entire day to charge teh enrgy within all the stones.

I now can spread my hand and reach the entire circumfrance fo the wheel or I can focus my hand on a particular area. Or I can even jsut focus on a colro for the color therapy aspects of thsi wheel.

I believe I will be able to place my receiving hand on it and hold a transmiiter crystal pointed outward with my sending hand and channel this marvelous energy to others. Or I can do it bare handed as well, by just letting all this marvelous energy travel into my hand up my arm through me and out through the heart chakras of my sending hand.

I am very pleased with the final results. I also forgot the most important part of this beautiful medicine wheel. I blessed it with white light of the universe and my love energy and stated my intent for its possible uses for nothing but the good of all.
