 Re: Steve Roach
While I love all kinds of music, I am terminology/genre challenged outside of the basics...... do you have a link to some of the music you're refering to?

That's where you got your Avatar! Yes that one had considerably more energy..that would be maybe one or two at a time for me due to the stimulation, I think...but really cool music. The visuals were mesmerizing in that one with the melting colors and faces etc. I peeked at a couple more songs while I was there and he does have a lot of other worldly sounds and visuals. Thanks for posting.

I love this music Worldcitizen. I just love to hear about different artists through Tribe. The times I've made a mistake when buying new age music. THis is a great way to know through recommendation. I'm sure you'll like our featured artist Simon Ashaan. You can get a free download of one his tracks through Tribe magazine. Check him out www.simonashaan.com

Poppy, you can also listen to 89.3 FM starting at 6pm for a program called "Night Tides" and "Hearts-of-space". They spotlight S.Roach often. JZ

 Re: Steve Roach
Interesting about Steve Roach. You know, he lives here in Tucson, AZ, with his wife, Linda Kohanov. It was through Linda and her work with horses, that I came to realize I was a hsp. I believe he has written several songs that illuminate her work with the horses, too.

 Re: Steve Roach
I love the work of Steve Roach, and a lot of ambient music! For me, I find it is some of the most powerful music for getting lost into, allowing yourself to just "float along" with the music as it were! If you like his work, you might want to check out Robert Rich (a collaborator of his), and Michael Stearns too (his soundtrack to the film Baraka is just perfect!)
