So here we are just waiting to have a conversation.....

Yes, he did disassociate himself from the norm. He almost had to, to be a survivor.

I was just reading online that prescription pain meds may be a factor in his death. Toxicology reports won't be done for a few weeks or so. What a shameful loss.

Yes, someone was talking about it in the office here. It'll be interesting to see what the tess show up.

I agree he did the best he could to survive.

Oh Butterfly and HeartLight, I so appreciate your comments about MJ! I shared similar thoughts/feelings -- about his innocence and childlike purity -- with a non-HSP who expressed zero empathy for his uniqueness, and was quite blaming and accusatory regarding some of the controversies during his life. I didn't welcome that, so politely ended the conversation.

I was born and raised in Gary, Indiana and, as a little girl, often asked my Mom to drive me by "2300 Jackson Street." It was so inspiring to me (and many others) that a global icon could come from such a humble and unimpressive place as Gary.

I pray he now enjoys the kind and judge-free company of angels and other ascended ones.

Wow LifeBlazing to think you came from the same place. As you say he had humble beginnings. I bet they're in mourning there right now. In fact the world is mourning his death.

It's a shame that many couldn't see the innocence of MJ. For me it was very apparent. Only on stage did he really seem comfortable in his own skin. He was a very disturbed man, and I think he did the best he could. At least he is at peace now.

Bless

Unfortunately I have had the same experiences in conversations about Michael. The non-hsp's don't seem able to see what we can see. Michael was a beautiful unique individual. It was almost as if he tried to hang onto the childlike innocense that his career stole from him. I found him to be a beautiful, caring person. I will ache in my heart for a good long time at losing him at such a young age.

People never cease to amaze me with their boundless creativity. Michael certainly had his issues, but no one can argue his creative genius and that he was an inspiration to so many throughout the world - like this guy here; Francois Macre.

His youtube video is smile inducing, simply amazing, and entertaining. What better tribute to MJ.

Enjoy the video.

Everyone loved his talent to death, but who really understood him? I hope his three lovely children did. But I guess, even in the end, they couldn't help with his pain. The world hurts. It's nearly impossible to live in a cocoon and still be part of this existence. He pulled it off for 50 years, but then it all faded.

I hope next time around his soul is able to find, to give, what it needs to give to a better, more embracing world.

He came and gave what he had, and what he had was most beautiful! He could not make the world embrace any more of what he brought to it than he did. At some point it's all up to us to stop and take notice. Michael did his job while he was here, but society wasn't really ready for the message that he brought. How very sad for us.
