Yummy cherries and cherry pie. Love them both ways. They remind me of being young again too. Always a treat. Love your story Brenda.

OMG real home cooking. There was a time I used to bake when I was happy. I was always making pies and cakes. Much prefer homemade. Come on share the apple pie recipe - you know you want to!

okay I am like Brenda this comment has greatly pulled at the reins of my old phart heart
Okay A mommmy speech coming your way.......................
I don't know the circumstances that prompted your comment but what I do know is cooking is a great way to alleviate stress, to share love and laughter and to connect with your inner beings.

If you are no longer able to eat great concotions then make them for gifts...When is the last time you baked a cake or a pie and gave it to an old person in your neighborhood or took it to work just to say hey I was thinking of you guys lol.

Do not ..not cook because you can't eat it ...Most of the pleasure comes actually from the creativeness of it ...the visual arts aspects of it and the aromas that touch the sensory nerves of the head......
I have found on the four days a month that I work day shift...to lesson the stress it causes me to be around all these energies......... If i bring a cake or cookies or something I have made...it seems to change the energy...it lightens the atmospere...gives them pleasure and delight..an in changing their energy it lessons the severity to my energy.
try it it may still make you Happy honey...and may return some happiness back to you......

 Re: Cherries
I appreciate your reply Miss BrokenHeart. I always have baked for others for the sheer pleasure it gave. So I know what you mean. These days little time to do so, and I'm in not in a place that I intend to stay indefinitely. So never really unpacked properly. So that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

Hey we could set up a bakery? I could bring a bit of European flavor to what we do. Are you gals going to the Colorado gathering?
