So tell us your stories! Share your experiences, thought-provoking poetry, insightful art, music, and photography. Speak out on anything and everything that affects our lives, whether global warming, political reform, making music, or baking cakes.

Our broad-based editorial structure encourages a grass roots community where everyone has a voice that is valued. Drawing on the wisdom and observations of our ancestors, you help us explore, debate, and wonder at the word around us. Then through our collective knowledge, we create new and sustainable options for our own future and that of the planet’s.

Nuts and Bolts

Tribe is a quarterly, themed magazine. You’ll find the theme for the next issue posted on our Home page and on the Tribe Information forum on our Community page. Follow the submission guidelines for the section you are interested in. There is no limit to the number of magazine sections you may contribute to, but do not submit more than one article per section per contest.

Once you have completed your article, submit it to its related forum on the Community page. Members may then read submissions and vote for their favorites. The editor will, as needed, work with the featured writers to ensure Tribe’s editorial standards while retaining the integrity and voice of the winning articles.

Each of the magazine’s specialized sections requires a different writing approach. From news reporting to feature writing to creative writing to opinion pieces, we want writing with depth and meaning and heart. Your writing should move and inspire your readers; your art needs to connect and challenge; but most of all, it needs to show us you.

Your contribution will give Tribe magazine the best content available and allow the Tribe community to share its many voices and talents.
